How it works

1. Connect Hospitable and your intercom app account. Takes about 5 minutes.
2. Paste your NoBuzz link in your Airbnb check-in message. Airbnb adds each guest's confirmation code to it.
3. On arrival, the guest just taps "Open the door". The link only works during their stay.

What it checks, every single time

• The booking is looked up live in Hospitable, with its confirmation code.
• The door opens from check-in time until 1 hour after checkout. Before that, the guest is told when.
• Loading the page never opens anything. Only the button does, so link previews can't open your door.
• You get an email each time the door opens, and when something fails.
• If anything is off, the guest is told to ring the intercom. Same as today.
• Your intercom password is stored encrypted, and never shown to guests.

Why I built it

I host a studio in Nantes. Guests kept arriving at 10pm and I had to pick up the intercom from wherever I was. Smart locks fix the flat door, not the street door. So I just made the intercom open itself for the right guest, at the right time.
